Helen Quinn is an artist, stylist, and educator based in Queens, New York. Her multidisciplinary career includes paint color development, sustainable textile design, and prop and set styling for television, magazines, and retail projects. She has also shared her expertise as a graduate-level instructor in color and materials at Parsons/The New School and has led student workshops in interiors, including the Aftertaste series for Parsons and Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher initiative at the White House.
Education has been a central thread in Helen’s practice for over 15 years. From teaching at Parsons, to leading community workshops on the Jackson Heights Open Street, to designing summer arts camps, she has consistently sought to make learning accessible and engaging. In 2025, she began an exciting new role in the NYC public schools as a middle school teacher, where she teaches English Language Arts and Technical Theater Literacy.
Helen has attended numerous artist residencies and exhibits her work internationally, with shows spanning Queens, New York, the Czech Republic, and Norway. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Education.
